Poem

We were tasked to write a poem and my groupmates and I chose different themes. One of them wrote about life struggles, another about love, the other also focused on love but revealed the darker side of being loved by a boy, the last poem was about embracing fear and darkness. Most of our inspirations came from personal experiences and our surroundings, but I wrote mine because I wanted to know what it feels like to create a sad piece. We enjoyed the process because it enhanced our creativity and critical thinking, and for some of us, it was our first time writing poetry still the results were impactful, especially for those who could relate to our . We learned that you don’t need to be an expert in poetry, if you write your emotions sincerely, it will always become meaningful.
